The start of something beautiful

As I set up this blog and start out this journey as a missionary in Latvia I can't help but think about the fact that this is the start of something beautiful. Many new friendships have and will continue to be formed, God's work is visible, God's peace is abundant, and He is GOOD! Even as things progress I know not everything will be easy, but just as a rose is beautiful, it still has thorns. It is my hope that this blog will serve as a means of communication to all who read it as to what God is doing in Riga while I am there, and the adventures that He leads me through.
